LeSean McCoy Expects To Have Same Role As 2018
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy had the worst season of his 10-year career in 2018, but he's unfazed by the team adding Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon in free agency and Devin Singletary in the draft. McCoy fully expects to continue as the team's starting running back in 2019. "I mean, I'm a dominant player. I think that speaks for itself. But I'll be in the same role as last year. And I look forward to putting some numbers up and bouncing back from that last season," McCoy said. He'll turn 31 next month and finished with a career-low 514 yards and three touchdowns on 161 carries in 14 games (13 as a starter). Buffalo should use McCoy the most in this backfield, but he's lost a lot of fantasy luster and is more at risk for injury as he ages.
