Leonard Fournette Could Become Bigger Receiving Threat
6 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette could become more of a receiving threat out of the backfield in his second season. He's been a frequent target of quarterback Blake Bortles in 11-on-11 drills on screens. “I could always catch,″ said Fournette, who had 36 receptions for 302 yards last season. “It’s up to Nathaniel in what he wants out of the running backs. But I think every running back we have has the ability to run, catch and block and be a three-down back.″ Fournette seems to be more relaxed and engaged in training camp this year and hopefully will stay healthier throughout the season. He's a strong RB1 choice on a run-first team with a solid offensive line to open up holes for him.
