LeBron James "Committed To The Lakers"
9 months agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James was the topic of trade rumblings before the deadline. However, his agent Rich Paul, speaking on the Stephen A. Smith Show, indicated that his client isn't going anywhere. "He's committed to the Lakers," said Paul. "Obviously, there's ups and downs and emotions throughout the course of a season, but ultimately, LeBron's committed to the Lakers." The trade deadline is in the rearview mirror, and the multi-time MVP is still on the roster. There were reports Golden State attempted to acquire him. However, that clearly never happened. James remains a top fantasy producer despite various injuries over the last few years. He's averaging 24.8 points, 7.8 assists, and 7.2 rebounds this season. Even better, he's shooting 39.5% from deep, the second-highest mark of his career. Nevertheless, the 39-year-old could have at least a few more seasons left in the tank, and he's anticipated to remain one of the best players in the National Basketball Association until he decides to eventually hang up his shoes.
