Kyrie Irving Has 24 Points, Season-High 15 Assists In Loss
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving finished Sunday's loss to Chicago with 24 points and a season-high 15 assists, shooting 12-for-27 from the field He added two rebounds and two steals with one turnover in 39 minutes. James Harden (hamstring) sat this one out and Kevin Durant (hamstring) also remained on the sidelines. Kyrie has built himself a nice three-game double-double streak ahead of next week, which includes a pair of tricky matchups against the Knicks and the Lakers. He'll face the Knicks and their league-best defense first if he doesn't sit out on Monday. The Knicks have been very impressive with their defensive work this season, but they couldn't do much to slow down Irving in the last meeting when he went for 34 points in 37 minutes.
