Kyler Murray's Status For Week 17 Up In The Air
5 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray's (hamstring) status for Week 17 against the Rams is up in the air after he was removed from the game early in the Week 16 upset of the Seahawks. He was walking with a slight limp on the sideline in the fourth quarter and had his hamstring wrapped. Backup Brett Hundley came on in relief to throw his first pass of the season. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he doesn't know if Murray will be able to play in the season finale versus the Rams. "I couldn't make a guess," he said. "We obviously won't put him out there if he wasn't a hundred percent," Kingsbury said. If Murray can't go, Hundley would get the nod. He can make things happen with his legs, but he'd definitely be a downgrade for Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald through the air.
