Kyler Murray Shakes Off Jitters In Week 1
5 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was able to shake off a rough first half and finish strong. The hype was all but dead in the first half, as the rookie posted a quarterback rating of 19.8. The nerves seemed to settle, as he went 29-for-54 for two touchdowns and 308 yards. Some concerns at the end of this game were his inconsistency, turnovers and the amount of sacks he took. With that said, he did an excellent job of target distribution with over 10 targets to Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and Keesean Johnson. The 22-year-old has a lot to improve on but will be tested next week in Baltimore. Murray will be a dicey play in all formats in Week 2.
