Kyler Murray Gets Good News
5 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray's (hamstring) MRI exam revealed nothing alarming on Monday, according to sources. He's dealing with a regular, minor hamstring pull and has a chance to play in the Week 17 season finale against the Rams. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that if Murray is ready to go, he'll play on Sunday. For now he's day-to-day, but fantasy owners will need to keep an eye on his practice status throughout the week. Murray went just 19-for-34 for 163 yards with an interception against the Rams in their first meeting. He'll be more of a shaky QB2 this weekend if he plays at less than 100 percent. He'll also be at risk of being pulled at some point in a meaningless game. If he cannot get clearance, backup Brett Hundley would start under center.
