Kyle Seager Making Progress
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager (wrist) took ground balls before the team's game last Saturday, although he won't be eligible to come off the 60-day injured list for four more weeks. The 31-year-old has started swinging a bat on soft tosses and off a tee and expects to move to live pitching before long. "It’d been a long time, so it was nice getting back out there and doing something. I’m ahead of schedule. I feel good. I have full range of motion, the strength is coming back. We’re still doing a lot of strengthening work to get back to the norm, but physically it feels good," Seager said. You shouldn't expect Seager to return until June, but he's worth stashing in deep mixed leagues and AL-only formats.
