6 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber (back) left the game early on Wednesday with a back issue after sliding into third base, according to manager Joe Maddon. Schwarber told Maddon about his back and then hit a home run, but he was removed from the game after running around the bases gingerly. Maddon said Schwarber is day-to-day. Schwarber now has 25 home runs and 58 RBI on the season along with four steals and a .239 average. He belongs on most fantasy rosters, but make sure to check your lineups this weekend to make sure he's playing.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
