Kyle Lowry Shoots Bricks But Rolls To Another Double-Double
3 years agoMiami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry had a horrible 3-for-12 shooting performance against Detroit on Sunday, but he still managed to record a second consecutive double-double, finishing a 100-90 loss with 19 points and 10 assists. He got to double-digit scoring thanks to an 11-for-16 effort at the foul line. The veteran floor general shot just 2-for-9 from downtown and committed four turnovers while completing his line with five rebounds and one steal. Lowry logged 42 minutes and is now averaging close to 36 minutes per game for the month, which isn't ideal for the 35-year-old. He has a decent matchup to look for a third consecutive double-double, as Miami will host the Pacers, who have recorded pretty average defensive numbers against opposing point guards this season.
