Kyle Lowry Logs A 17-Point, 14-Assist Double-Double
3 years agoMiami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry bagged his fourth double-double of the season on Monday, finishing a 120-111 loss to Denver with 17 points and a season-high 14 assists. He shot 5-for-9 from the field with a 2-for-5 record from deep and went 5-for-9 at the free-throw line. The veteran floor general had only one turnover in a team-high 36 minutes. Jimmy Butler (tailbone) missed this one and Lowry took advantage of some extra touches. Miami has started a busy four-game week, so Butler could end up missing a lot of action if he doesn't return quickly. The next game comes on Wednesday against Cleveland, which could be a tricky matchup for Lowry, as the Cavs have performed well defensively against point guards.
