3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kyle Gibson (groin) is set to return from the injured list and start Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Gibson was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 25 due to a right groin strain. He had a successful bullpen session on Wednesday to prepare him for Friday's game. Gibson has had a fantastic year so far. Over 10 starts, he's gone 3-0 with a 2.24 ERA and 1.01 WHIP. Nine of his 10 starts have gone for quality starts.
