Kyle Finnegan Records Sixth Save
2 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan threw a scoreless ninth inning against the San Diego Padres on Thursday night. The right-hander issued a pair of walks, which made for an interesting inning. However, he was able to get Jurickson Profar to ground into a double play to escape the jam. Finnegan has converted six of his 10 save chances this season. He should get more opportunities through the final few weeks of the regular season. There's not a ton of fantasy value here with the Nationals not getting many save chances. Honestly, Finnegan only has value to fantasy managers who are desperate for saves.
