Kyle Connor Extends Point Streak To 10 Games
3 years agoWinnipeg Jets left wing Kyle Connor helped his side to a 4-3 overtime victory against Columbus on Friday and extended his point streak to 10 games. He notched a short-handed goal in the opening frame and tallied an assist when Nikolaj Ehlers won the game for Winnipeg 21 seconds into overtime. Connor is having a mind-boggling month with 24 points in 13 games, and he's been able to collect a career-high 82 points across the whole season. He's the fifth-best scorer in the league and Connor continues to hunt for a 50-goal year, which would be the first by a Winnipeg player since 1995-96 when Keith Tkachuk did it with the old Jets. Sitting on 41 markers, Connor is currently on pace for 51 goals.
