Kyle Bradish's Next Start TBA
6 months agoThe Baltimore Orioles' starting rotation for the entire upcoming series against the Tampa Bay Rays that starts on Friday remains "TBA", according to manager Brandon Hyde. The skipper added that there aren't any health concerns for right-hander Kyle Bradish and that the team is just giving him some extra rest. Hyde wouldn't say whether Bradish will just get a couple days or skip his turn entirely this time around. The 27-year-old was originally in line to start Thursday's series finale in Toronto against the Blue Jays, but he's been pushed back in favor of left-handed pitching prospect Cade Povich, who will be making his big-league debut. Bradish got a late start to 2024 due to a right-elbow injury and had been very strong before giving up a season-high five earned runs in just 2 2/3 innings his last time out last Saturday against the Rays.
