Kris Bryant Unsure When He'll Resume Swinging
6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (shoulder) said on Sunday that he doesn't know when he'll be able to swing a bat. However, Bryant said there are no long-term concerns with his shoulder inflammation. The slugger's shoulder injury has put a real damper on his season so far, and he's batting .276 but has only 11 home runs and 44 RBI through 76 games. Fantasy owners can only stay patient and hope he doesn't suffer any setbacks when he resumes baseball activities. The Cubs have used a handful of players at the hot corner in his absence, but David Bote (.328 with two homers and 11 RBI in 61 at-bats) has really stood out.
