6 years agoChicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon said the team will activate both third baseman Kris Bryant (shoulder) and shortstop Addison Russell (finger) from the disabled list on Saturday. Bryant is expected to start. Bryant has just 11 homers this year but should be immediately re-inserted into fantasy lineups. He could be the difference for his owners down the stretch. Russell's season has been an even bigger disappointment, and he may not play much to close out the year with Daniel Murphy entrenched at second base and Javier Baez moving to shortstop.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
