Kolten Wong Good To Go On Thursday
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (hamstring) is slotted into his usual leadoff spot for Thursday's game against his former team, the St. Louis Cardinals. Wong was removed from Wednesday's game in the seventh inning due to hamstring tightness. Brewers manager Craig Counsell stated after the game that the team would take a cautious approach with him. Wong is clearly feeling a lot better today assuming the cautious approach is true. The former Cardinal has had a strong first year with the Brewers, tallying 13 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 48 RBI and 64 runs while slashing .273/.333/.448 over 108 games.
