Kole Calhoun Reports To Summer Camp
5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun, who had missed the first seven days of summer camp after testing positive for COVID-19, reported to camp on Friday. Calhoun will now get to work in preparing for his first season with the Snakes after spending eight seasons with the Angels. The left-handed slugger blasted a career-high 33 home runs in his final season in Anaheim in 2019, but that was accompanied by a weak .232 batting average in 552 at-bats. The 32-year-old has hit over 20 home runs only one other time in his career (2015), but he joins a solid lineup and will have a hitter-friendly environment as his home park. Consider him worth a late-round pick for his power to round out your outfield depth.
