Khalil Mack Continues To Hold Out
6 years agoOakland Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack continues his holdout and will not report to training camp on Friday, according to a source. Mack will be fined $814,000 per the collective bargaining agreement if he does not show up before the team's first preseason game against the Lions. He is set to earn $13.8 million in the final year of his rookie deal, but he wants a long-term contract extension. Mack was the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and was also aa first-team All-Pro at defensive end and outside linebacker in 2015. His 40.5 career sacks and 185.5 quarterback pressures make him an elite IDP player.
