4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks center fielder Ketel Marte (hamstring) has yet to resume baseball activities. He is still getting treatment on his injured right hamstring. Marte was placed on the injured list last Thursday. He is first eligible to return from the injured list on Sunday, April 18, but he certainly appears likely to remain on the injured list past that date. Tim Locastro has taken over center field duties with Marte injured. Locastro has filled in well and is a solid option for short-term stolen base help off the waiver wire. Marte was off to a hot start to the season before the injury, slashing .462/.500/.846 with two home runs and five RBI over six games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
