6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen suffered from an irregular heartbeat on Thursday and was taken to a local hospital, according to manager Dave Roberts. Jansen will return to Los Angeles and will miss the rest of the series against the Rockies this weekend. Roberts said Jansen's condition is stable. It's a concerning issue, but hopefully Jansen checks out fine and can return next week. He's been one of the best closers in baseball once again after a slow start to the season. Scott Alexander recorded the save on Thursday night and should be the favorite should any other save situations arise with Jansen sidelined. Since Jansen's issue could extend past this weekend, Alexander should be scooped up in all leagues if you're chasing saves.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
