Ken Giles On Paternity List
5 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays placed closer Ken Giles on the paternity list on Thursday. Giles should only be away from the team for a handful of days. In his absence, Justin Shafer and Derek Law could be used to close out games in the ninth inning, with Shafer being the better fantasy target if you're really desperate for saves in deeper leagues. Shafer has a 3.30 ERA on the season, 1.67 WHIP, one save and 27 strikeouts in his 30 innings of work over 25 appearances out of the bullpen.
