Keke Coutee, Ryan Griffin Ruled Out For Thursday
6 years agoHouston Texans rookie wide receiver Keke Coutee (hamstring) and tight end Ryan Griffin (illness) missed practice on Wednesday and have been ruled out for Thursday night against the Dolphins. Coutee said after the game Sunday that he wouldn't be able to play on the short week after aggravating his hamstring that cost him games earlier this year. With him out, DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller will see more targets. Fuller has WR2 upside with Coutee out of the picture. Vyncint Smith should have an expanded role as well as the third wideout, but he's not fantasy relevant. With Griffin out for the second straight game, expect rookies Jordan Akins and Jordan Thomas to split work.
