Keenan Allen Ruled Out For Thursday Night
12 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) won't play in Thursday's game against the Raiders. Justin Herbert (finger) is already done for the year. Unfortunately, the team will now enter the AFC West showdown without their top pass-catcher. It's a tough break for the 31-year-old, who's arguably had the best season of his career, amassing 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns. But now Easton Stick will need another receiving option, with Joshua Palmer, Quentin Johnston, and Gerald Everett (in that order) the favorites to benefit from Allen's absence. At the same time, Austin Ekeler should see more targets out of the backfield.
