Karl-Anthony Towns Posts New Franchise Record With 56 Points

KAT sank six triples out of eight attempts and shot 19-for-32 overall, nailing 12 of 15 freebies. He also extended his league lead in double-doubles, notching his 63rd of the year with 14 rebounds. Towns is averaging 26.1 points and 12.1 rebounds this month, hitting 57.1 percent of his shots from outside. He'll have another superb matchup on Friday when the 'Wolves go to Dallas. Towns has averaged just below 25 points with 11.7 rebounds against them in three outings this season.
