Kareem Hunt Could See Snaps In Slot
5 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt will likely play more than any of the team's options as the No. 3 wide receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, including snaps from the slot. Head coach Kevin Stefanski prefers to run more two-tight end sets over four-wideout formations, which will be good news for both Hunt and tight end David Njoku. Rashard Higgins, Taywan Taylor and Damion Ratley are the underwhelming options for the third receiver position in Cleveland. Hunt, 24, managed 37 receptions on 44 targets for 285 yards and a touchdown despite being suspended for the first eight games of last season. The Browns clearly have a role for him, so he should continue to maintain RB3/flex status in PPR leagues.
