Justin Upton's Outlook For Opening Day Is Grim
6 years agoIt's looking more likely that Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton (toe) won't be ready for Opening Day on Thursday after he had an MRI exam on his big left toe on Monday. "We're waiting for multiple opinions," manager Brad Ausmus said. "We should know more tomorrow. He's not moving real good right now." It's unclear what the results of the MRI exam are, but fantasy owners should expect the slugging left fielder to miss some time. Upton still has 30-homer power and will drive in runs, but he doesn't do much else and is on the fringe of being a top-20 fantasy outfielder.
