6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton is dealing with turf toe and will open the season on the injured list. The Angels have given no timetable for Upton's potential return, but turf toe is a nagging injury that has a tendency to linger. It's fair to wonder if Upton's power will resurface immediately when he returns, as he missed valuable spring action while also dealing with knee tendinitis. It might be safe to bump Upton out of the top-25 fantasy outfielders now. Peter Bourjos should see most of the time in left field in Upton's absence, although David Fletcher might also be used there.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
