Jung Ho Kang Progressing
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang (wrist) has been hitting soft toss, fielding ground balls and throwing without pain. Head trainer Todd Tomczyk said the team hopes to get Kang at-bats in the fall instructional league. Time is running out to get Kang into a major league game, but he's making nice progress and should be a sleeper pick in deeper fantasy leagues next spring if he remains in the team's plans. Kang hasn't played since 2016 due to off-field issues with alcohol.
