Jung Ho Kang Out 4-6 Weeks
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang (wrist) had surgery to debride cartilage in his left wrist on Friday, and the typical recovery period for this injury is four to six weeks. That means Kang won't be able to play until 2019. He's missed the last two years after another DUI arrest in Korea. He may not be back with the Pirates next year either, as they hold an option on him. The 31-year-old was on pace to hit over 30 home runs for the Pirates in 2016, so he could be worth a flier next season depending on where he's playing.
