5 years agoThe New England Patriots signed wide receiver Julian Edelman to a two-year extension on Tuesday, according to a source. It could allow Edelman to finish his career with the Patriots. He'll receive an $8 million signing bonus and $12 million guaranteed. He was suspended the first four games in 2018 and finished with 74 receptions for 850 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Over a full season next season, Edelman could easily return to the 1,000-yard mark if he can stay healthy. Quarterback Tom Brady should lean on his safety blanket heavily with limited options around him in the passing game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
