JuJu Smith-Schuster Injures Toe In Loss To Patriots
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe) got rolled up on late in the blowout Week 1 loss to the Patriots on Sunday night, but expects to be ready to go in Week 2 at home against the Seahawks. Smith-Schuster caught six of his eight targets for 78 scoreless yards in the season opener. He trailed only Donte Moncrief in targets and should remain quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's top target moving forward. We'd hope that Smith-Schuster will play next week, but we'll have to watch his practice participation first. Moncrief, James Washington and tight end Vance McDonald would be the receivers most likely to benefit if Smith-Schuster missed a game.
