Josh Rogers Done For The Year
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Josh Rogers is being shut down for the rest of the season, according to manager Buck Showalter. Rogers struggled in his first three big league starts, posting an 8.49 ERA and 1.89 WHIP with just six strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings. However, the left-hander has promise at this level and should compete for a rotation spot in spring training next season. Yefry Ramirez will start on Friday and David Hess will go on Saturday against the Yankees. Neither pitchers are realistic fantasy streamers in bad matchups.
