Josh Jacobs Practicing Tuesday
5 years agoOakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs (shoulder) went through the team's walkthrough practice on Tuesday, and offensive coordinator Greg Olson said it "was encouraging." Jacobs has a chance to return in Week 17 against the Broncos after sitting out in Week 16, and this is a good start to his practice week. The impressive rookie has been a huge part of Oakland's offense in his first season and is trying to get back on the field as the Raiders attempt to make the postseason against all odds. Jacobs will be more of a low-end RB1 if he returns this weekend, which would push Deandre Washington back to backup status. Jacobs ran 23 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns against Denver in the season opener.
