Josh Jacobs Expected To Be More Involved In Passing Game
5 years agoLas Vegas Raiders general manager Mike Mayock said he expects running back Josh Jacobs to be more heavily involved in the passing game in "Phase 2" of his development in his sophomore season. Jacobs led all rookie running backs with 1,150 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, but he had only 20 receptions on the season, limiting his upside as an RB1 for fantasy owners. In an offense that could improve under center with a new quarterback in 2020, Jacobs' arrow is pointing directly up if he sees more targets in the passing game. He'll certainly be taken in the early rounds as an RB1.
