Josh Harrison Out With Sore Shoulder
6 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Josh Harrison is out of the starting lineup with a sore left shoulder that he suffered while diving for a ball on Saturday. Ronny Rodriguez, who was called up from the minors on Sunday, is starting at the keystone and batting seventh against Twins starter Jose Berrios. Harrison is hitting .135 (7-for-52) with two RBI and two steals in the early going and has become an AL-only middle infield option. Rodriguez is a career .220/.256/.335 hitter in the majors with five home runs and 20 RBI in 191 at-bats. He makes for a very poor DFS pick, although he could see some extra playing time in the short term with Jordy Mercer on the injured list.
