Josh Harrison Has Grade 2 Hamstring Strain
5 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Josh Harrison (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring strain, according to manager Ron Gardenhire. There is no timetable for his return, although he could easily miss more than a month with this ailment. It's Harrison's second injured list stint in what has been a disaster of a first season in Detroit. The 31-year-old is hitting just .176/.219/.265 with a homer, 10 runs, eight RBI and three steals in 136 at-bats. Leave him to the waiver wire everywhere. Some combination of Niko Goodrum, Gordon Beckham and Dawel Lugo will likely see starts at the keystone in Harrison's absence.
