Josh Hader Loses Arbitration Case
5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers All-Star closer Josh Hader lost his salary arbitration case and will make $4.1 million in 2020 instead of the $6.4 million he was requesting. Hader, who turns 26 in April, had 37 saves in 44 chances in 2019 and was 3-5 with a 2.62 ERA in his second straight All-Star campaign in 2019. The hard-throwing southpaw is one of the toughest lefty relievers, if not the toughest, and he's recorded 49 saves the last two years while striking out 15.3 hitters per nine innings in his three seasons. His sheer dominance the last three years has vaulted him to the top of the fantasy closer list.
