Josh Gordon Plans To Play In 2020
5 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Josh Gordon said he intends to play in 2020 as he works his way back from an indefinite suspension, according to a source. Commissioner Roger Goodell will oversee Gordon's attempt to be reinstated by the league. Gordon played for the Patriots and Seahawks in 2019 but was suspended on Dec. 16 for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse, which was his sixth NFL suspension since 2013. He'd become an unrestricted free agent for the first time if he is reinstated. The 28-year-old had seven catches for 139 yards in five games for Seattle. He still has plenty of talent, but whether he's reinstated and for whom he's playing will determine his 2020 fantasy value.
