Josh Gordon Back With Team
5 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon returned to the team on Monday after being reinstated from suspension by the league on Friday. However, it's unclear when Gordon will be cleared to practice. The 28-year-old's return is a massive boost to New England's receiver depth, which isn't all that strong in 2019. The Pats offense was much more productive with Gordon in the lineup last year, and his 18 yards per catch was second in the NFL behind DeSean Jackson. Brady and Gordon had their growing pains last year, but it's obvious that he's a real deep threat and an intriguing fantasy option. Brady was 11-for-15 for 145 yards when targeting Gordon on slants and 8-for-9 for 198 yards and a touchdown on in-routes. There's obvious risk with Gordon, but if he's on the field he should be plenty effective. He's RotoBaller's No. 21 fantasy wideout.
