Josh Allen To Miss 2-3 Games
6 years agoBuffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) received a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews and while he will not need surgery, the expectation is that Allen will miss at least two or three games and will be week-to-week after that, according to a source. The rookie is dealing with damage to the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. Although it'll be a hit to the team's already inconsistent offense, the good news is that Allen won't need Tommy John surgery, which would keep him out for around a year. Either Nathan Peterman or Derek Anderson will start in Week 7 against the Colts. Anderson is probably the better bet at this point, but all Bills offensive weapons have to be downgraded in fantasy.
