5 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) went 1-for-4 with a single in his second rehab game with Triple-A Round Rock on Monday, and manager A.J. Hinch said that Altuve might require a third game on his rehab assignment. Altuve could return from the injured list either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on if he plays another minor league game first. It's good timing for Houston, as Aledmys Diaz (hamstring) just landed on the shelf Monday. Altuve was hitting .243/.329/.472 with nine home runs, 21 runs, 21 RBI and one steal in 144 at-bats before his injury.
