3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu has had a bit of a streaky season. He was absolutely fantastic in August, when he mashed 10 home runs and posted an OPS of 1.043. However, he's slowed down a good amount in September as he's only hit one home run so far this month while slashing .256/.394/.359. The 34-year-old veteran has 113 RBI on the year, which is second in the majors behind only Salvador Perez, who has 117. Abreu has a 92.1 mph average exit velocity that ranks in the 89th percentile.
