Jorge Soler Scratched From Thursday's Lineup
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jorge Soler (hip) has been scratched from Thursday's lineup against the Washington Nationals with right-hip tightness that is still bothering him. Josh Bell will now serve as the designated hitter for the Fish and hit second against Nationals right-hander Joan Adon. Soler will miss his third straight game due to hip tightness, but it sounds like he's getting close to returning to the lineup. The 31-year-old right-handed slugger has been a must-start in fantasy lineups this year because of his elite power stroke. With Bell at DH, Jake Burger is playing first base and Garrett Hampson enters the lineup at the hot corner.
