6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jorge Lopez (rib) said his MRI exam didn't show any damage to his rib area after he was hit by a line drive on Friday. He remains sore but hopes to throw a bullpen session on Monday or Tuesday. Lopez holds a 3.93 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 6.5 K/9 over 16 outings (six starts) between the Royals and Brewers this year. It remains to be seen if he'll get another start this year, but he'd be worth a look in AL-only leagues if the matchup is right.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
