5 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie linebacker Jordyn Brooks, the team's first-round pick this year, looks to be a clear backup or role player in his first season in the NFL behind Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright. Linebacker is easily the strength of Seattle's defense heading into the 2020 season, with the Wagner/Wright combination being one of the better linebacking tandems in the NFL. But as a whole, the Seahawks Defense has been average over the last few years, finishing 18th, 14th and 13th in defensive efficiency in the last three seasons, according to Football Outsiders.
