5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed remains in the concussion protocol as of Thursday. Head coach Jay Gruden said he was "very encouraged" by how wide receiver Paul Richardson (quadriceps) ran in practice on Thursday. Reed has been looking better and could be cleared on Friday, but until then he remains nothing more than a risky TE2 for fantasy purposes in Week 1 against the Eagles. Richardson should play this weekend in the season opener, but he's an all-or-nothing fantasy commodity playing in an offense with a very beatable offensive line and a quarterback in Case Keenum who doesn't often risk taking downfield shots.
