1 year agoCleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins will be behind David Njoku on the tight end depth chart in 2023, but Akins has pre-established chemistry with quarterback Deshaun Watson and expects to have a bigger role than what he had the last five years with the Houston Texans. Akins caught 90 of 129 targets for 1,046 yards and three touchdowns in three years with Watson in Houston, when he wasn't the No. 1 tight end. The 31-year-old led the Texans with five TDs in 2022 and had a career-high 495 receiving yards. Akins is excited about working with Watson again and also having a different route tree in a new offense. However, unless Njoku misses time with an injury, Akins is probably going to be off the fantasy radar, especially with Harrison Bryant also around.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
