Jonathan Toews Finally Gets To Celebrate A Goal Again
3 years agoChicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews scored his first goal of the season in Thursday's 2-0 win over Montreal, finding the back of the net for the first time since March 2020. The Blackhawks captain found himself on a huge goal-scoring drought after sitting out the whole of 2020-21 with a chronic immune response syndrome. Toews scored the special goal on the power play in the second period and it ended up as the game-winning marker. He now has 10 points in 26 games for the season.
